For a while I had a moped. I hung out with some pretty cool guys that liked to wrench on them and go on group rides. Seeing a group of grown men zipping around on mopeds is one of the most ridiculous things you can see. It sounded like a swarm of smoke-spewing 2-stroke hornets with parts that fell off as we made our way around town. It was one of the more fun things I've had an opportunity to do..... and now, they have a race series. It is sort of the ultra low end of racing, that's for sure. Even with that, you wouldn't believe the speed some of those lunatics get out of those little bikes.
